Several months ago I was completely mesmerized by the dirt-sucking power of a Kirby vacuum by a door to door salesman and made the idiotic decision to throw $1600 (which with interest comes out to $65 a month for 18 months) down the drain to purchase one. When I told my frugal father about my new dust bunny demolisher he gawked at how gullible I am and told me I made a horrible decision. Ever since, he finds every way possible to remind me of his opinion, cruelty and wit behind every attempt. 

On Sunday I sent him a picture from my phone of my weed-infested backyard and asked him how I should get rid of the unwanted growths. His response? 

“Use your $1600 vacuum.”
